Made in Italy design and quality for logistics
Last mile transport
Nowadays the last mile optimization represents a “must-have thing” for couriers and big shipping companies.
That’s because being able to deliver orders quickly and effectively even in restricted traffic areas and narrow alleys, allows the companies to stand out by amplifying the number of deliveries without working longer hours.
Electric cargo bikes seem to be the ideal means for the future of logistics; electric cargo bikes do not pollute, are more agile in traffic and can also reach destinations unreachable for cars and vans.
The Italian startup “Sum Solution” was born in 2019 to three Under 35 entrepreneurs: Milo Cargnelli, Diego Brunello and Lorenzo Lusetti.
Three different backgrounds and skills united by one big goal: lead the logistics world into a greener future.
The company's HQ is located in Mestre, near Venice.
Driven by the will to create a unique product, able to satisfy the courier's needs without sacrificing the general quality and aesthetics of the bike, the Venetian startup "Sum Solutions" has developed "Sum-X", an electric human-propelled cargo bike conceived for last-mile logistics.
Even if Sum-X is available for less than a year, it has already been awarded the "Eurobike Award 2021" and has already earned the support of the most important Italian shipping companies.
What makes “Sum-X” a unique cargo bike?
Passion, quality and innovation.
These are the hallmarks that set Sum-X as a benchmark among cargo bikes, but let's get into the details.
Full suspension system: Sum-x is equipped with a rear and front suspension system, so as to guarantee great stability and driving safety whatever the terrain you decide to ride on.
Modular carbon frame: both the frame sections relating to the driving position and the one prepared for the load are 100% built with Made in Italy carbon.
Thanks to the modularity of the components the maintenance will be easier and more effective.
250 W FWD motor: Due to the bike lightness, reachable thanks to the carbon frame, it is possible to ride for over 60 km with a single charge - even at full load (250 kg max load). The full charge time is around 6 hours.
Made in Italy high-quality materials are the Sum-X distinctive traits.
Milo, Diego and Lorenzo certainly don't want to stop here!
Sum Solutions has already planned to develop larger cargo bikes, designed for large logistics, and to produce bikes dedicated to the transport of people.
